Two dorms at Noakhali University of Science & Technology (NSTU) design as a device to instigate social bonding among the students. They are not just shape making but to connect all the students of the hall in a single string. The un-built voids of those two structures are the key connectors. At minimum level everyone have visual connection with one another. At ground level void becomes internal play lot for the users. Internal court yard, staggered open terrace or zigzagged projected balconies encourages interaction among the students, where they can gossip, play or hangout with each other. All the effort is to create some good memories of student’s life during their stay in those dormitories. And it is well established fact how friendship works in our matured life.
